Detectives investigating a burglary in Macclesfield have charged a man in relation to the incident.
On Tuesday 11th March police were called to reports of a burglary at a residential property on George Street West in Macclesfield.
The caller reported that unknown persons had gained entry into the address and stolen a number of items.
Following enquiries officers arrested a 51-year-old local man in relation to the incident.
Christopher Carter, of Great King Street, Macclesfield, has since been charged with one count of burglary.
He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Monday 31st March.
