Detectives investigating a burglary at a sandwich shop in Northwich have charged a man in relation to the incident.
At around 5am on Thursday 15th January, police were called to reports of an incident at a commercial premises on London Road.
Officers attended and found that there had been a burglary at the sandwich shop, and a quantity of cash had been stolen from the till, along with cash from a charity box and a tip jar.
Following enquiries a 31-year-old local man was arrested in relation to the incident.
Jack Didsbury, of Parkfield Road in Northwich, has since been charged with one count of burglary other than a dwelling.
He has also been charged with two counts of shoplifting in relation to incidents at Spar in Davenham on Sunday 28th December and Home Bargains in Winsford on Tuesday 30th December.
Didsbury has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Friday 16th January.
