Detectives investigating a robbery outside a restaurant in Alderley Edge have charged a man in relation to the incident.
At around 10pm on Saturday 29th March, a 35-year-old woman was robbed outside San Carlo restaurant on Wilmslow Road.
During the incident a gold Rolex watch and a Birkin handbag were stolen.
Following enquiries by detectives at Macclesfield CID, a 25-year-old man from Bradford was arrested a man in relation to the incident on Wednesday 2nd April.
Liam Ross, of High Street, Wibsey, has since been charged with one count of robbery and one count of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs (cannabis)
He appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Friday 4 April where he was remanded in custody. He is next se to appear at Chester Crown Court on Friday 2nd May.
