Officers have charged a man with multiple offences following a successful stop check near Northwich.
At around 11.10pm on Tuesday 13th January, officers became aware of a suspicious vehicle which was travelling on the A49 near Northwich.
Following a search of the area, the vehicle was located on Lodge Lane in Bartington and the driver was arrested.
Owen Neves has since been charged with possession of a weapon in a public place, failing to provide a specimen, using false number plates and driving without insurance.
The 26-year-old of Tirrington in Bretton in Peterborough, has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 15th January.
