Officers investigating the supply of illegal drugs in Crewe have charged a man in relation to the offence.
Michael Skinner was arrested on Monday 19th May. The 30-year-old, of Dovedale Close, Goldenhill, Stoke-on-Trent has since been charged with multiple offences.
These include possession of an offensive weapon in a private place, possession with intent to supply class B drugs (cannabis), being concerned in the supply of class A and B drugs (cocaine and cannabis), possession of class A drugs (MDMA), possession of a firearm, and being concerned in the fraudulent evasion of a prohibition on the importation of a class B drug.
Skinner appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 21st May where he was remanded in custody to appear at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Wednesday 18th June.
The charges relate to an investigation into the supply of cannabis in the Crewe area of Cheshire.
