A 27-year-old man from Winsford has been charged with a total of 132 offences, following an investigation by Cheshire Constabulary’s Major Crime Directorate.
David Harmes, of HMP Risley, formerly of Wharton Gardens, Winsford, was charged with offences including possessing, making and distributing indecent images, blackmail, inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, sexual communication with a child and engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child.
The charges relate to offences which occurred between July 2019 and February 2020 and involve 39 girls aged between six and 15 from across the UK and six girls aged between nine and 13 in the US.
He will appear at Chester Magistrates on 13 June.
