Steven Everett, of Lyme Grove in Marple, Stockport, has been charged with driving while disqualified, dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving without insurance and failing to appear at Stockport Magistrates Court.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Chester Magistrates Court on Friday 3 September.
A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking and dangerous driving and has since been released with no further action.
The charges relate to a vehicle travelling into Poynton and a pursuit on the A5102 that led to a vehicle being abandoned on a construction site in Woodford, Stockport on the afternoon of Thursday 2 September.
