A man charged with murder following the death of a man in Northwich has pleaded not guilty.
Matthew Higgins, 35, of Brook Lane in Northwich, appeared at Chester Crown Court on Friday 20 December, where he entered a not guilty plea to the charge of murder.
He also denied assaulting an emergency worker.
A trial date has been set for the week commencing 24 March 2025 at Chester Crown Court.
During the hearing, it was confirmed that a 41-year-old woman, who was also arrested in relation to the incident, has since been released without further action.
