Northwich residents can find out about the lifesaving work of their local firefighters this weekend – without leaving the comfort of their own homes.
This Saturday, 29 August, Northwich Fire Station will host its first ever virtual open day.
From 10am to 4pm, there will be a wide range of informative and fun things for members of the community to enjoy via the Northwich Fire Station Facebook and Twitter accounts.
The day is packed full of activities, including:

Station Manager Duncan Palin said: “We hold an open day every year, and we are not going to let the coronavirus pandemic stop us.
“The current restrictions prevent us from holding an open day in its usual form, so we have organised our first ever virtual open day to safely show Northwich residents the work that we do and the equipment we use.
“There will be a range of videos and other informative and fun things for people to enjoy via social media from the comfort of their own homes.
