Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a collision on London Road.
At 9.15pm on Friday 21 July police were called to reports of a collision on London Road South, Poynton.
Officers attended the scene and found the collision involved two vehicles, a green Vauxhall Corsa and a black Toyota Yaris.
The driver of the Toyota, a 27-year-old man, sustained a leg fracture and was taken to Royal Manchester Hospital for further treatment and where he remains at this time, his injuries are serious but not believed to be life threatening.
Police Constable Julie Cook, of Cheshire's Roads and Crime Unit, said:
“As part of our investigation, we are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
“The same goes for anyone who has dashcam or CCTV footage which may aid our enquiries.
"Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via the website quoting IML-1602199."
