Officers from Cheshire Police have arrested a man from Wales following reports of a burglary in Crewe.
At around 11.30am on Tuesday 25 July, police were called to reports that three men had broken into an address on Langley Drive in Crewe.
The caller reported that the men had fled the scene in a grey Audi.
Local officers, supported by the Roads Policing Unit, were deployed, and following a search of the area they located the car on the A534 near Farndon.
Police pursued the vehicle as it travelled over the border into North Wales.
The car continued to evade officers, travelling at speed, before eventually coming to a stop in the Marford area where three men fled the vehicle on foot.
Cheshire officers, supported by colleagues from North Wales, the police dogs and the police helicopter, conducted a search of the area and one man was arrested.
The 25-year-old from Wrexham was arrested on suspicion of burglary; he remains in custody at this time.
As part of the searches, traffic was temporarily stopped on the A483 as a precautionary measure.
Enquiries to identify and locate the outstanding two suspects remain ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 1604764
