Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision involving a car and pedestrian on Chester Road in Macclesfield.
At approximately 8pm on Tuesday 24 December a purple Alfa Romeo Mito was in collision with the pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 70-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Sadly, the man died the next day.
Anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken to police, or anyone with dashcam that may help with the investigation, should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via the website quoting IML 1992007.
