Detectives investigating an assault in Crewe are appealing for any witnesses or those with video footage to make contact with them.
At 11.30am on Sunday 3 December, a caller reported an assault had taken place in Mill Street, Crewe.
The incident is believed to have occurred earlier that morning, at around 1am, near to The Express pub.
A 37-year-old man suffered a serious leg injury during the incident.
Detective Constable Bryony Aston said:
“Enquiries are currently ongoing and as part of this, we are now urging anyone who witnessed anything which could aid our investigation to get in touch.
“The same goes for anyone who may have any CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident."
