Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision involving a motorbike and a van in Congleton.
At around 12.30pm on Thursday 20th March, police were called to reports of a collision between a van and a motorcycle on the A34 Newcastle Road, Congleton near to the junction of Brownlow Heath Lane.
The rider of the motorbike, a 63-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the van, an 18-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
