Animal lovers are invited to join in the fun at a Bark in the Park event which has been organised by the RSPCA Macclesfield Branch.
The event will be held on Sunday July 6th at Congleton Park from 12pm until 4pm.
Highlights from the day include a fun dog show, stalls, children’s activities including circus skills workshop and hands on clay modelling, food and drink and even a DJ.
Admission to the event is free and there will be lots of other animal and environmental charities attending the day including Pets as Therapy, Cinnamon Trust, Cats Protection and the Cheshire Bee Keepers.
Colleagues from RSPCA Stapeley Grange Animal Centre will also be hosting a stall at the event and running a fun nature trail.
Volunteers at RSPCA Macclesfield, SE Cheshire and Buxton are pulling out all the stops to make sure the event is one to remember.
A spokesperson for the branch said:
“We can’t wait to celebrate with our supporters old and new at our Bark in the Park.
"And we are very excited to see all the dogs who take part in our dog show. It promises to be a lot of fun.
“Events like these are vital fundraising events for our branch and help to raise money which will be used directly to help animals in our care.
We also want to say a big thank you to all those who have supported us; Congleton Community Projects / Friends of Congleton Park and kindly sponsored by Congleton Inclosure Trust, Congleton Town Trust, HJ Lea Oakes, Adelphi Group Ltd, Timothy a Brown and Congleton's Young Peoples Trust.”
The dog show starts from 1pm.
