Knutsford Market Hall is hosting two events this August. A fringe event as part of Knutsford Music Festival and an ‘open day’.
Cheshire’s Scott Edwards will play in the Market Hall at 11am on Saturday 14th August as part of the 2021 Knutsford Music Festival. Scott’s songs draw on his indie roots but with his catchy vocal and guitar playing he will ensure an upbeat performance for anyone popping into the market on Saturday morning. This concert is part of the festival’s fringe events and full programme details can be found by visiting:

Saturday 21st August sees Knutsford Town Mayor, Stewart Gardiner open, the market’s ‘Open Day’. First held in 2019, the idea is to promote the market hall’s offer to customers – new, old and those who have not yet discovered the wide variety of produce and goods on offer in the market.
The open day will see promotions from the food-based traders – The Market Butcher, Jonty’s Fruit and Veg, The Market Café, Plastic Free Weigh and Morgan Edwards Fine Wines. Additionally, The Market Café will be hosting a special children’s breakfast with Marshall from Paw Patrol and hopefully (pending any emergencies) a Fire Engine will be parked out the market from 10.30am for children to explore. A face painter will also be visiting the market too. In the afternoon, Slipped Discs will be playing some original vinyl and across the day raffle tickets will be given with any purchase giving you the chance to win a voucher from each market trader.
Sandra Curties, Knutsford Town Council’s Town Centre and Marketing Officer said, “We are looking forward to greeting everyone at these two summer events. Listening to some music whilst you shop or grab a coffee is a lovely way to spend a Saturday morning. Our open day has something for everyone, and we hope to see some new faces too. If you are not sure what the market hall offers, then this is an ideal way to find out!”
Knutsford Market Hall is open on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
