As Knutsford enters its second lockdown there are numerous ways to still shop local and not resort to the big retailers or Amazon.
Sandra Curties, Town Centre and Marketing Officer, said, “Just as Knutsford shops rose to the challenge of the first lockdown, they will do so second time around. For those on Facebook Knutsford Virtual High Street group is a great community resource for shops, businesses, and shoppers alike. The website, KnutsfordHighStreet.com brings together many of our town’s businesses and has just started to offer joint home delivery with a small selection of local shops. However, sometimes it is as easy as picking up the phone and speaking to a local shop owner – they will be more than happy to have a chat about what is in stock for safe delivery or collection. So please give them a call – there are options other than Amazon!”
In addition to the supermarkets, pharmacies, opticians, and dentists staying open the following shops will be open (and where appropriate offering deliveries or collections)
