Officers have recovered a large quantity of illegal drugs after performing a stop check on a vehicle near Northwich.
At around 8pm on Thursday 12 October officer stopped a white Ford Fiesta at a garage off the A556 in Tabley.
While searching the car officers discovered a large quantity of cannabis in a bin bag on the back seat of the vehicle.
The three occupants were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.
Following questioning the three men, a 27-year-old from Hartford, and a 20 and 23-year-old from Winsford, have all been released on conditional bail.
Detective Sergeant John Lyons, of Northwich Proactive Team, said:
“This is a fantastic result which has led to the removal of a large quantity of illegal drugs from the streets of Cheshire.
“While this investigation is in the early stages, I am sure that these arrests provide reassurance for residents in the area and the wider community.
“I also hope that it acts as a warning to other offenders who are thinking about coming into Cheshire to commit crime.
