Two people have been charged with drug supply offences following a joint investigation between Cheshire Police and the Operation Toxic team at Merseyside Police.
On Wednesday 22nd October warrants were carried out in the Macclesfield area, leading to the arrest of a man and a woman, both of whom were taken to police stations for questioning. Seized from the location was cash and suspected Class A drugs.
Michael Ault, 50, of Maple Avenue in Macclesfield, was charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and Concerned in supply of heroin.
Victoria Scott, 37, of Knutsford Walk in Macclesfield, was charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and Concerned in supply of heroin.
Both have been remanded into custody to appear at Chester Magistrates Court today, Thursday 23rd October.
The charges came under Operation Toxic which is part of Project Medusa - a Merseyside-led initiative set up to tackle suspected County Lines drug dealing and child criminal exploitation across the country.
