Officers from Northwich Beat Team have charged two men with a number of offences following a stop check.
At around 3.30pm on Tuesday 4th November, officers stopped a grey Volkswagen T-Roc on Middlewich Road, near Holmes Chapel.
During a search of the car officers located a quantity of illegal drugs and cash. A number of mobile phones were also recovered.
The occupants of the car, two men from Manchester, were both arrested at the scene on suspicion of a number of offences.
Dominic McDaid, 32, of Left Bank in Manchester has since been charged with being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and taking a vehicle without consent.
He has been remanded in police custody and are set to appear at Chester Magistrates Court later today, Thursday 6th November.
Philip Gardner, 59, of Hilary Road in Manchester, has been charged with taking a vehicle without consent, driving without insurance and driving while disqualified.
He has since been bailed and is set to appear at Crewe Magistrates Court on Thursday 18th December.
