Detectives investigating the supply of illegal drugs in the Congleton area have charged two people.
Robert Machin, 49, and Sophie Brown, 22, were both arrested by the Op Apollo team on Thursday 11th December as part of an ongoing investigation into the supply of illegal drugs.
Machin, of Albany Mill, Canal Street, Congleton, has since been charged with one count of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs (crack cocaine), four counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs (heroin and cocaine) and one count of possession with intent to supply class B drugs (cannabis).
Brown, of the Parklands, Congleton, has been charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs (crack cocaine), four counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs (heroin and cocaine) and one count of possession with intent to supply class B drugs (cannabis).
The pair have been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Friday 12th December.
