Police investigating a collision in Davenham have arrested a man.
At 6.42pm on Friday 2 July officers were called to the A533 following reports of a collision involving a silver Ford Ranger, a silver Honda Civic, a white Mazda and a blue Volvo horse box.
The driver of the Honda Civic, a 27-year-old man from Warrington was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Ford Ranger left the vehicle and fled from the scene.
A 35-year-old man from Middlewich has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He remains in custody assisting police with their enquiries.
