Officers investigating an assault on a member of rail staff at Crewe railway station are today releasing these images in connection.
At around 9.30pm on Monday 30 August, two women approached the barriers and were asked for their tickets by a member of rail staff. Both women said their tickets were on one of their mobile phones, which had run out of battery.
A member of staff went to get a charger, so they could charge their phone. One of the women then became abusive towards the member of staff and pulled their mask off and scratched their face and hand.
Officers believe the woman in the CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation.
If you recognise her or have any information, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 574 of 30/08/21. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
