Police have arrested a woman on suspicion of drink driving while travelling on the motorway.
The 43-year-old woman was stopped in a silver BMW 1 Series on the M6 between junction 18 to junction 19 at 11am on Saturday 27th August.
When stopped by police she was breathalysed and found to have blown 164, which is over four times the legal limit of 35. A child was also found to be in the vehicle at the time.
Officers received numerous reports from members of the public in relation to the incident and are appealing for anyone who was travelling at the time it occurred to get in touch with information or dash cam footage to help support their investigation.

Police have now charged the 43-year-old woman.
Sarah Vazquez, of Wheatfield Road in Cronton, has been charged with drink driving and drunk in charge of a child under the age of seven.
Vazquez has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Warrington Magistrates Court on Tuesday 30 August.
