Detectives investigating the death of a 24-year-old man in Rode Heath have now charged a woman in connection with the incident.
Ryan Watson died at around 11.40pm on Friday 6 May after he was hit by a black Ford Fiesta Zetec on Sandbach Road.
The driver of the car, Alice Wood, was arrested following the collision before being released on bail.
The 22-year-old was today, Thursday 26 May, rearrested in connection with the incident and has since been charged with murder.
Wood, of Draycott Cross Road, Cheadle, has been remanded in custody and with appear at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Friday 27 May.
