A group of 35 dancers from AC Ballet Academy, based at Disley Methodist Church, are now rehearsing and fundraising ahead of August's trip of a lifetime.
They had spent months working on two routines, believing that the dances were being filmed for the academy's new website.
Principal Alana Clark's secret plan was to submit the resulting video to Disney as an audition.
When it was successful the pupils, aged six to 12, were told in a surprise video call on Christmas Day.
Alana, who also teaches the youngsters, said:
"When we finally told them, they were all shocked but so excited.
"They had absolutely no idea. Watching them realize they’re going to dance at Disneyland Paris was unforgettable.
"A special extra gift for Christmas day, for many of our dancers, this will be their first time performing on a world-class stage.
"This experience builds confidence, teamwork, and memories that will last a lifetime."
The group will reveal details of fundraising activities in the near future.
