A woman who harassed her former partner and his new girlfriend has been sentenced after subjecting them to a campaign of abusive messages and threats.

A local mother is lacing up her running shoes this month to conquer a 100km challenge, raising vital funds for the Special Care Baby Unit at Macclesfield District General Hospital.

Residents are invited to attend a special Mayor-Making Ceremony at Congleton Town Hall on Thursday 21st May at 7pm, as the town officially welcomes its new town mayor for the 2026–27 civic year.
