Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an incident in Crewe.
At around 12.06pm on Friday 29 July, a man was brought into Hungerford Medical Centre with a serious head injury.
The man was subsequently taken to Leighton hospital for further checks and is now recovering.
The 29-year-old man has no recollection as to how these injuries were sustained and police are now appealing for information from the public.
