Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following the theft of a car in Wilmslow.
Sometime between 6.10pm and 6.40pm on Monday 9 August an unknown man stole a white Ford KA which was parked outside Hooper’s department store on Aldeley Road.
The man is believed to have travelled to the area on a red pushbike which was abandoned at the scene.
The car was then seen being driven off in the direction of Manchester Road.
Enquiries in relation to incident are ongoing and as part of their investigation officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any video footage which may aid the investigation.
Police Constable, from Macclesfield Local Policing Unit, said: “Alderley Road is a busy road and I believe that there may have been a number of people in the area at the time of the incident who may hold vital information.
“As part our ongoing enquiries I’m keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the theft or noticed anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who was driving through the area at the time and may have unwittingly recorded any dashcam footage which may aid our investigation.”
