Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a serious collision near Northwich.
Shortly before 3pm on Sunday 21 July, police were called to reports of a collision on the A49, Warrington Road in Acton Bridge.
Officers attended the scene and found there had been a collision between a white Mini One and a multi-coloured BMW motorcycle near to the Leigh Arms public house.
The rider of the bike, a 57-year-old woman, suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision. She was taken to Aintree Hospital, where she remains at this time.
The driver of the car, a 39-year-old woman, was uninjured.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any video footage which may aid the investigation.
