Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a suspected arson in Crewe.
Just before 2.55am on Monday 8 April, police were called to reports of a vehicle fire at an address on Halton Drive, Crewe.
On arrival they found a black Audi Q2 which had been set alight - it was quickly extinguished by firefighters.
The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate, and an investigation has been launched.
Inspector Cliff Goodwin of Crewe Local Policing Unit, said:
“This investigation is in the early stages and we’re doing everything that we can to establish what took place.
“Therefore, we’re urging anyone was in the area at the time and thinks they may have seen anything suspicious to get in touch.
“The same goes for anyone with any dashcam or CCTV footage which may aid our investigation.”
