Police are appealing for information from the public after a pushbike was stolen from a teenager in Northwich.
At around 7pm on Thursday 23rd February, a 14-year-old boy was cycling down Darwin Street, towards the river Weaver.
As the teenager approached the Roberts Street roundabout, he was pushed off his bike from behind by an unknown male.
As the victim lay on the floor, the offender then stole his bike and cycled off in the direction of Spencer Street, and on to Navigation Road.
Detective Constable Connor McGregor, of Northwich CID said:
“The victim in this case was left shaken as a result of his ordeal and we’re keen to hear from anyone with any information which may aid our enquiries.
“We’d particularly like to hear from anyone who resides on Darwin Street or Spencer Street, which may have any CCTV footage of the incident, or the offender fleeing the scene.”
