Macclesfield Barnaby Festival is a volunteer led festival. It is the enthusiastic, hardworking and creative people who live in and around Macclesfield that make our festival happen.
We are keen to hear from people wanting to volunteer throughout the year. We have a number of ways you can make regular commitments to the festival or get involved in specific events.
Our small collection of midsummer events from 17 to 27 June 2021 need volunteers to help us with a range of tasks. There are details below and click to https://barnabyfestival.org.uk/get-involved/volunteer/ to register online and review our volunteer policies
You can be available for as many or as few opportunities as you like.
Front of House – taking tickets on the door, welcoming the public, ushering and assisting our producers at events
Stewards/ Invigilators – at the small number of visual art exhibitions
Stewards – mobile, at the small number of walking and filming events in the Town, directing attendees and general members of the public
Runners and Helpers… general last-minute tasks, trouble-shooting and running around!
We look forward to your support
