Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Congleton.
Sometime between 12.10am and 12.30am on 20th June a man was assaulted outside the NatWest Bank on High Street by a man who was with a group of other men.
He was helped by a couple to receive medical assistance and went to hospital the following day with serious facial injuries.
DC Sarah Sayer said:
“There were a number of people around at the time of the incident and I would urge those who saw the assault and have not yet spoken with police to contact us. I’d also like to get in touch with the couple who assisted the victim and anyone who has information about the assault that may help with our enquiries.”
