Detectives have arrested three teenagers following the death of a man in Winsford.
At around 10.30pm on Sunday 11 October, three men, aged 26, 27 and 36, suffered serious injuries after being involved in a disturbance on Cheviot Square.
Two of the men were taken to hospital for treatment. The 26-year-old presented himself at hospital.
Sadly, the 27-year-old man, who has been named as Keagan Crimes, died a short time later in hospital.
His next of kin have been informed and are currently being supported by specialist officers.
As part of ongoing enquiries, three 16-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
They are currently in custody assisting police with their investigation.
Detective Inspector Adam Waller, who is leading the investigation, said: “A number of enquiries in relation to this incident are underway and we are doing all that we can to establish the exact circumstances of what has happened.
“Patrols have been stepped up in the local area and officers will remain in the town to provide reassurance and address any concerns that residents may have.
“I would ask anyone who has any information, no matter how big or small, that they believe could help with our investigation to get in touch.
“The same goes for anyone who has any footage either from mobile phone or dashcam, around the time of the incident.”
