Brian Silvester was first elected as a Local Councillor in May 1976.
In that time, he has been proud to represent Shavington, Willaston, Rope, Wistaston, Woolstanwood and Leighton, which is his current Parish Council.
He is now one of the longest-serving Councillors in the country.
Brian is the Leader of Crewe First, a member of the 'Belmont Group' of Six UK Political Parties.
He said:
