A 38-year-old man from Handforth has been charged with assault by beating and section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent following an incident in Knutsford.
The charges relate to a disturbance at an address in Royce Court in Knutsford on the evening of 24th May in which a man and woman were assaulted.
Vincent Sulcuna, from Siddington Road in Handforth, appeared at Chester Magistrates on 27th May to face the charges and has been remanded in custody.
He will next appear at Chester Crown Court on 24th June.
