Police investigating an incident in Crewe have charged a man.
Nicholas Carson, of Booth Lane in Middlewich, was arrested at around 11.47pm on Friday 25th July.
Carson, 43, has since been charged with intentional strangulation and two counts assaulting a person thereby causing actual bodily harm.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Warrington Magistrates’ Court later today (Monday 28th July).
The charges relate to an incident that occurred in the Reedmace Way area of Shavington on Friday 25th July.
