Man charged following Northwich stabbing

Detectives investigating a stabbing in Northwich have charged a man in relation to the incident.

Samson Price was arrested on Thursday 14 October in relation to a serious assault which occurred outside Pure Gym, Leicester Street, on Thursday 23 September.

The 47-year-old of Sefton Road, Wigan, has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article in a public place.

Price appeared at West Cheshire Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 16 September where he was remanded in police custody.

He is next set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday 15 November.
