A man who was found dead following a fire at an address in Nantwich has now been formally identified
The 61-year-old was found dead following a fire at his address on Welsh Road in Nantwich on Tuesday 19th May.
A full investigation into the cause of the fire remains ongoing, however, the death is not being treated as suspicious, and a case file will be prepared for the coroner.
Detective Sergeant George Booth, of Crewe CID, said:
“Our thoughts remain with deceased’s family, and we request for their privacy to be respected at this difficult time.”
