Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Moreton.
At 9.55pm on Friday 1st May a black Audi was traveling along Newcastle Road towards Congleton when it left the carriageway near to Little Moreton Hall and collided with a silver Range Rover parked in a layby.
Three of the occupants from the Audi were taken to hospital with serious injuries. A fourth passenger, a 20-year-old woman from the Chell area, sadly died at the scene.
One occupant of the Range Rover also received hospital treatment.
Detective Sergeant Iain Condliffe said:
“I’d urge anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken to police to contact us. The same goes for anyone with dash cam footage that may help our investigation.”
