East Cheshire NHS Charity is offering exclusive places for the TCS London Marathon 2027, giving you the chance to tackle the world’s most iconic 26.2-mile course while making a big impact on local healthcare services.
Taking place in April 2027, the event will see tens of thousands of runners pass London’s historic landmarks, fuelled by the roar of the crowds.
By joining our team, you’ll be raising vital funds to provide the extra support, beyond core NHS funding that makes a stay in the hospital better for patients, their families, and our hardworking staff.
The incredible achievements of our 2026 runners continue to inspire us, particularly the story of runners like Elliot Edwards, who described the event as a highlight.
Reflecting on the challenge, Elliot said:
"It was truly an experience like no other. The hardest and most rewarding race yet. 30km met the point of no return but I loved every minute. Sign up for a place now!"
Building on the momentum of the 2026 event, we were also immensely proud of Tony Mayer, who successfully conquered the course to give back to the Trust he used to work for.
Tony said:
"Thank you to everyone who has supported me in my training and fundraising for the London Marathon. Whilst the weather was a bit warmer than I would have liked the atmosphere was amazing.
“I would highly recommend anyone thinking of doing it to enter the ballot or support a charity next year. It's great to have been able to support East Cheshire NHS Charity who have played a big part in my life.”
A minimum fundraising target of £2,000 is required, with successful entrants provided with dedicated support from the fundraising team, a charity running top and access to a wide variety of fundraising ideas, materials and resources.
