Cheshire’s historic Willington Hall Hotel is opening its doors for a once-in-a-lifetime festive experience — giving families the chance to hire the hotel tailored for their very own Christmas house party.
Available for two-night stays either pre-Christmas or during the magical Twixmas week (between Christmas and New Year), this exclusive package allows families, blended families, groups or extended families to come together and celebrate in style without the stress of hosting at home.
Guests can take over all 12 of Willington Hall’s beautifully appointed bedrooms or just a few, enjoying the grandeur and privacy of the hotel and its grounds.
The experience options include:
• Santa making a special appearance with presents for the children
• Festive dinners cooked and served by the hotel’s expert team
• Cosy Christmas film nights for the kids
• Drinks flowing while the adults relax — with no washing up to worry about
Mr Begbie, owner at Willington Hall Hotel says:
“This is such a unique opportunity. Hosting Christmas at home can be stressful, especially with large or blended families. Here, we take care of everything — the food, the drinks, the tidying up — so families can simply enjoy being together. After two nights of fun and celebration, everyone returns home with wonderful memories and without the worry of extended house guests!”
The house party package is being offered as a one-off experience for Christmas 2025, and the hotel expects demand to be high.
