On Sunday 7th May, from 12pm - 4pm, there will be a big community Coronation celebration in Bank Square and the surrounding areas.
Road closures have been arranged to provide a safe space for families and friends to relax and enjoy the day, with music, entertainment, family activities, community group stalls and seating.
Activities and entertainment will include Punch and Judy, Crazy Golf, crafts and funfair-style games with events spanning across Bank Square, Grove Street, Green Lane and Hawthorn Lane.
The community celebration is being organised by Wilmslow Town Council in partnership with Wilmslow’s BID (represented by Wilmslow’s Way Better), in association with the nationwide Eden Project Communities ‘Coronation Big Lunch’ initiative.
Darren Antrobus, from Cheshire's Silk Radio's BIG Afternoon Show, will be hosting the event in Wilmslow.
