Cheshire East Council is giving advance notice of works in Church Lane in Sandbach Heath which will see the road closed for five days from November 28th.
Works will be taking place to remove temporary fencing and reinstate the verge and highway boundary along a section of the road between Congleton Road and Willow Drive.
This is following works by a third party and will ensure that safety for highways users is restored.
During the closure, the alternative route will be via Heath Road, The Hill, Old Mill Road, and Congleton Road. Further information about the diversion can be found here:
Pedestrian access to any premises along the road will be maintained at all times. Cyclists will need to dismount to gain access.
Vehicle access for residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained where possible.
