A closure order has been granted for a business in Crewe.
The shop in Market Street has been handed a closure order for a period of three months which was granted at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 16th April.
This comes following reports of illegal activity including anti-social behaviour at the premises and failing to adhere to age limit restrictions when selling items.
Evidence was collated by officers in the Crewe Problem Solving and Prevention Team and the Crewe Beat Team, along with Cheshire East Trading Standards.
PC Dean Ashmore said:
“We are grateful for the three-month closure order granted for this premises.
“I hope this reassures members of the public that we take their concerns seriously and act on the information provided to us to protect the communities we serve.
“Anyone with concerns about suspicious or criminal behaviour in their area can report it to Cheshire Police via the Cheshire Police website or by calling 101.”
