Officers are appealing for information following a fail to stop collision in Congleton.
At 7.20pm on Sunday 19 December a report was received that a pedestrian was involved in a collision with a white car on Rood Hill near to the traffic lights.
The pedestrian, a 69-year-old local woman, sustained minor injuries.
The car failed to stop at the scene and turned left near to Tesco.
Police are now appealing for anyone who may have dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
Police Constable Matt Turner said: "The injuries sustained by the woman could have been a lot worse and we are doing all we can to track down the person responsible.
"A number of enquiries are currently underway and as part of these enquiries, we want to hear from anyone who may have seen the white car or witnessed the collision.
"The same goes to anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage in the area around the time of the incident to submit this to us as it could help with our investigation."
