Detectives are continuing to appeal for witnesses and video footage following an armed robbery at a post office in Winsford.
At around 8.38am on Saturday 18 December two men entered the post office on Swanlow Lane.
The pair, who were armed with knives, threatened staff and demanded money behind the counter.
The men, who were both wearing dark clothing, stole a quantity of cash from the till before fleeing the store on foot, travelling towards The Old Star public house.
Two local men, aged 29 and 30, were subsequently arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection to the incident. The pair have since been released on conditional bail.
Detective Constable Amy Lally, of Northwich CID, said: “This incident has understandably left the store worker shaken and we are committed to doing all that we can establish exactly what has taken place.
“Two local men were arrested and questioned in relation to the incident, they have since been released on conditional bail.
“As part of our ongoing investigation are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and believes they may have witnessed the offenders entering or fleeing the store.
“The same goes for anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage that may be relevant to our investigation.
