Officers are appealing for information following a collision on the M6.
At 11.53pm on Saturday 16th August, it was reported that a collision had occurred on the M6 southbound, one mile south of junction 18.
The collision involved a white Nissan and an unknown vehicle. There were no reports of any injuries. The driver of the unknown vehicle failed to stop at the scene.
Officers are now appealing to the driver of the second vehicle to get in touch with them.
Sergeant Iain Condliffe said:
“We are appealing for any witnesses to the collision or the driver of the vehicle which failed to stop at the scene to contact us.
“The same goes for anyone with any footage of the incident."
