Appeal for information following serious collision in Crewe

Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a serious collision in Crewe.

At around 8pm on Sunday 20th September, police were called to a collision on Weston Road, near to Crewe Hall Hotel.

On arrival officers found the collision involved a Green Isuzu tipper truck and three 16-year-old pedal cyclists.

Two of the cyclists sustained serious injures and were taken to hospital; their injuries are not believed to be life changing.

The driver of the truck was uninjured, and no arrests have been made at this time.

Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the cyclists in the Weston Road, or Weston Village area, prior to the incident.
